In 2012, I began my own event planning business, Exotic Enterprises LLC. In 2020, due to the pandemic, that business came to a grinding halt. It was at that time that my husband and I established our business consulting practice, Skiendziul & Luzzi Consulting.

 

In 2021, Food, Love, and Hope Catering was born from a long-term business concept aimed at helping society, as well as an opportunity to support my husband's culinary endeavors for his Masonic Lodge, Durand Lodge 179, in Point Pleasant, NJ.

Eventually, I aim to establish a farm with the same name, featuring several associated businesses, including a bed and breakfast, farmers' market, and Restaurant, which could support our non-profit organization, Arming the Impacted.

The Purpose of Arming the Impacted is to provide resources to survivors of domestic violence and/or sexual assault. Family and domestic violence (including child abuse, intimate partner abuse, and elder abuse) is a common problem in the United States. Family and domestic violence are estimated to affect 10 million people in the United States every year. (1) 68% of active shooters are associated in some way with domestic violence. (2)This means that helping to end domestic violence in the United States could make our society a safer place overall.
